Purpose

This survey collects measureable evidence on the impacts of proposed firearms law reforms in the ACT, including ownership caps, recategorisations and potential buyback schemes.

The data from the survey will be used to support submissions, discussions and liaison that SSAA ACT Inc. may have with government regarding policy and law changes.

All information will have any personal details removed before use and any personal information shared will be stored inline with personal information storage requirements.

Additionally, the survey responses may be provided to related entities (ie: other shooting organisations) where appropriate, but any personal information that you provide will not.

There are some sections in the survey where you can type free text/additional information. Please keep these respectful and appropriate.

Finally, the survey is hosted by an Australian company on survers that are located in Australia. If you want to do some research into the survey provider, it is SnapForms. Because they are based in Australia, they are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles and they do not access the survey data without the customers (in this case, SSAA ACT Inc.) consent.
